Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of aspirin on bloodhomocysteine in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred patients between January 2012 and December 2013 wererandomly divided into non-aspirin group(50 cases), aspirin patients(50 cases). The levels of serum Hcy and hs-CRP were measured before and after treatment. The level of NIHSS were compared between pre- and post-treatment. Results After treatment, thelevels of serum Hcy and hs-CRP were significantly lower, NISSH score decreased significantly. NISSH score was positively related to the levels of serum Hcy, hs-CRP. After treatment, thelevels of serum Hcy and hs-CRP in aspirin-group weresignificantly lower than in non-aspirin group. After treatment, NISSH scoresin aspirin-group were lower than in non-aspirin group, but without statistical significance. Conclusion After treatment with aspirin, thelevels of Hcyand hs-CRP in patients withcerebral infarction were reduced, the quality of life improved.
