Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the clinical application value of human body composition analyzer combined with air circulation pressure on preventing and treating breast cancer related lymphedema (BCRL).Methods82 patients who underwent modified radical mastectomy + axillary lymph node dissection from May 2021 to April 2022 were selected as the study subjects and were divided into two groups by the random number table method. The routine group was given routine treatment and nursing after surgery, and the combined group was given human body composition analyzer combined with air circulation pressure treatment on the basis of the routine group. The upper limb-related indicators, postoperative lymphedema degree, human body composition indicators and shoulder range of motion were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Breast Cancer and Lymphedema Symptom Experience Index (BCLE-SEI) was used to evaluate the symptom severity of patients.ResultsAfter treatment, the upper arm volume difference was smaller in combined group than that in routine group. The edema degree in combined group was milder than that in routine group. The 50Hz resistance in combined group after treatment was higher than that in routine group, and the segment water and extracellular water were less than those in routine group, and the tissue water ratio was lower. The shoulder range of motion in combined group was larger than that in routine group after treatment. The BCLE-SEI scores after treatment in combined group were lower compared with those in routine group. No serious complications occurred in both groups after surgery.ConclusionThe application of human body composition analyzer combined with air circulation pressure in postoperative treatment of breast cancer can alleviate the severity of BCRL and related symptoms, and enhance the shoulder range of motion.
