Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between polymorphism of rs7044343 and rs3939286 of IL-33 gene and Kawasaki disease (KD) and KD complicated with coronary artery lesion (CAL).MethodsA total of 100 children with KD who were treated in the Department of Pediatrics of the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University from 2016 to 2021, and 100 healthy children with the same age at the same time were selected to detect the polymorphism of rs7044343 and rs3939286 of IL-33 gene by polymerase chain reaction (PCR).ResultsThe frequency and genotype of IL-33 gene between Kawasaki disease group and healthy control group were almost equivalent. In Kawasaki disease group, there was no obvious difference between CAL group and non-CAL group.ConclusionThe polymorphism of loci rs7044343 and rs3939286 in IL-33 gene has no significant correlation with Kawasaki disease and it complicated with coronary artery injury.
