Abstract:Abstract: The high cytotoxicity and poor biocompatibility of acellular materials are mostly caused by instability of cytotoxicity control process, which is important in the preparation of acellular biomaterials. Using alcohol immersion cleaning to optimize the preparation process could effectively reduce the residual cytotoxicity of acellular samples and improve their cytotoxicity grade. The results showed that the cytotoxicity of acellular products could be stabilized at a level of grade I by soaking and cleaning in 30% alcohol for at least 12 h. This method would help reduce the rejection rate in the preparation of acellular biomaterials and improve their biocompatibility and clinical safety.
