Abstract：Abstract: Omentin is a novel adipokine secreted by visceral fat tissue. Recent studies have found that omentin plays an important role in neurological diseases such as cerebral infarction, neuroblastoma and multiple sclerosis, and that it is well correlated with the occurrence and development of these diseases. Therefore, omentin may be used as a biomarker and a new indicator for diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis assessment of some neurological diseases.
