Abstract：Abstract: Antennal sensilla and protarsal sensilla of the assassin bug Sclomina erinacea were observed using scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that the antenna of Sclomina erinacea consists of five segments: one scape, one pedicel (the shortest segment) and three flagellomeres. The protarsus of Sclomina erinacea consists of three segments. Three types of antennal sensilla were observed, including two kinds of sensilla trichodea, two kinds of sensilla basiconca and three kinds of sensilla chaetica. No significant difference was observed between the male and female in the type and distribution of the antennal sensilla. Only one type of protarsal sensilla chaetica was observed on the surface of the protarsus, which distributed more intensively on males than those on protarsus of females.
