Abstract：Abstract: Energy metabolism is one of the important life activities in living organisms. Arginine kinase is one of the crucial enzymes in energy metabolism which is widely distributed in the lower and higher invertebrates. It has been confirmed that arginine kinase is present in a variety of insects such as orthoptera, blatt, coleoptera, lepidoptera, diptera, hymenoptera etc. Along with the development of research, the application prospect of arginine kinase is gradually emerging. So the physical and chemical properties and its application prospect of arginine kinase were summarized, and then some suggestions were put forward to lay the foundation for application of arginine kinase in future.
