金宝搏官方188创建于1938年，位于历史文化名城长沙，是国家“211工程”重点建设的大学，国家“双一流”建设高校，教育部与湖南省重点共建“双一流”建设高校，教育部普通高等学校本科教学工作水平评估优秀高校，湖南省“世界一流学科建设高校”。学校现有8个校区，占地2885余亩。
学校现有专任教师2100余人。其中中国科学院院士3人、中国工程院院士3人、欧洲科学院院士2人、国务院学科评议组成员5人。目前在校学生4万余人，其中研究生1.2万余人，长短期国际学生近1200人。
学校设有24个学院，现招生本科专业89个，本科和研究生教育覆盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、医学、管理学、艺术学等11大学科门类。学校拥有6个国家重点学科，5个“国内一流建设学科”；化学、临床医学、工程学、材料科学学科在国际上排名靠前；拥有21个博士学位授权一级学科、教育博士专业学位授权类别，34个硕士学位授权一级学科和24种硕士专业学位类别，以及20个博士后科研流动站。
学校先后同47个国家和地区的198所大学和机构建立合作与交流关系，开展人员交流、教学和科研合作，并与美国、俄罗斯、韩国等国家的3所大学分别共建3所孔子学院【注：南犹他大学、喀山联邦大学、圆光大学】；与美国、英国、俄罗斯、德国、澳门等国家或地区的6所大学分别开展6个中外合作办学项目【注：特拉华大学（学科教学专业）、圣约瑟夫大学（学前教育专业）、中央兰开夏大学（体育教育专业）、下诺夫哥罗德国立格林卡音乐学院（音乐表演专业）、柏林媒体设计学院（艺术设计学专业）、镜湖护理学院（护理专业）】；目前已有外国语言文学、化学、生物学、物理学、体育学等5个专业获批国家留学基金委创新型人才国际合作培养项目。
建校以来，学校已为国家输送毕业生50余万人，培养了一大批国际学生和港澳台学生，校友遍布海内外。

Founded in 1938 and located in Changsha, a famous historical and cultural city, Hunan Normal University (HNNU) was admitted into the ‘211 Project’andislisted as a National ‘Double First Rate’ University and as a ‘Double First Rate’ University emphatically constructed jointly by China’s Ministry of Education (MoE) and Hunan Provincial Government. It was graded A in the assessment of undergraduate teaching conducted by MoE. With8campuses, it covers a total area of 193 hectares.
HNNU has a full-time facultymembersof more than2100. Among them,3 areacademicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 3 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 2 academician of the European Academy of Sciences, and 5 members of theDiscipline Assessment Group under the State Council.Currently, it has a population of on-campus students as large as 40,000, of whom over 12,000 are postgraduate students and 1,200 are long-term or short-term international students.
HNNU consists of 24 schools and runs altogether 89undergraduate disciplines, which fall into such 11 main categories as philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, technology, medicine, management and art. It boasts 6 National Key Disciplines, 5National First-Class Disciplines.Chemistry, Clinical Medicine, Engineering and Material Science on the top list worldwide.21 of its first-level disciplines offerPh.D and Ed.Dprograms, 34 of its first-level disciplines offering masters’ programs andthere are24 professional masters’ programs. Since HNNU establishment,ithas provided country with over 500,000 graduates, many of whom are international students or Chinese students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Its alumni are all over the world.
