贺新光，博士，教授，博士生导师，主要研究方向是水文气象多尺度问题建模与分析和地理空间大数据挖掘与应用。博士学位论文被评为“2006年中国农业大学校级‘十佳’优秀博士学位论文”，并入选“2008年全国177篇优秀博士学位论文提名论文”。先后主持国家自然科学基金2项、省部级基金4项，已发表学术论文四十多篇，其中SCI收录论文20余篇。招收地图学与地理信息系统专业的硕博士生和自然地理学专业的硕士生。
